2008 Air Monitoring Network Plan

   

Background

The 2008 Ambient Air Monitoring Network Plan describes the network of ambient air quality monitors operated by the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District. The Plan includes a review of actions taken during 2007, and plans for action in the year ahead.

 

The 2008 Ambient Air Monitoring Network Plan was prepared to meet the federal requirements in Title 40, Part 58, Section 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR 58.10). The Federal Regulations require specific detailed monitoring network information be included in this report along with a 30-day public review period prior to submittal of the report to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Beginning June 30, 2008, the draft 2008 Ambient Air Monitoring Network Plan was posted on the APCD’s website for public review and comment.
