Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee

Next meeting: to be scheduled

Purpose: The Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board created the committee to, in part, ensure that all parties including private citizens, health and environmental organizations, government agencies and industry have an in-depth forum to discuss district rule development and other air pollution concerns. It is recommended that parties planning technical presentations before the board appear before the committee. The committee considers input from a variety of sources and provides recommendations to the board.

Meetings are held virtually as needed on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. The board can schedule additional meetings as needed.

Members: The five Ventura County supervisors each nominate two people, and the 10 cities each nominate one. Members serve two- or four-year terms.
