These programs improve air quality by providing grants for
cleaner-than-required engines and equipment. Recipients
receive funding to replace or repower old diesel equipment
with lower- or zero-emission versions. Scrapping existing
equivalent diesel equipment is required.
Grants are available for the projects listed below. Click

District staff will direct applications to the most
appropriate funding source based on program criteria. Each
program has different guidelines:
