On July 31, 2024, the Hearing Board granted a Regular Variance that allows Carbon California to continue operating the 262.5 MMBTU/hr Mactronic Waste Gas Flare while they come back into compliance with their monthly flare gas consumption limit after Carbon California repaired a section of their damaged pipeline on June 7, 2024, bringing the pipeline back into normal operations.
