School Transportation Service Plans
Consultation Requirements CA Education Code Section 39800.1

   

Per California Education Code Section 39800.1 (b) (1) requires school districts to consult with the local air districts on Transportation Service Plans to meet the requirements of AB 181.

 

The Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (VCAPCD) does not review these plans; however, it does provide incentives and funding programs that may apply to school districts when developing and implementing their transportation service plans.

 

School districts that submit their transportation service plans and consider the information under the VCAPCD Incentives Program webpage are considered to have consulted adequately with the local air district.
